Assentiri provides an escrow service and a closing service. These can either be combined or provided separately.
Assentiri provides an escrow service together with regulated partners that hold and pay out the funds whereas Assentiri manages the transaction making use of our digital platform.
Assentiri will ensure simultaneous completion of the transaction by dating the release letters and timing the protocol of delivery and acceptance. This service can either be provided together with our escrow service, or separately for transactions where no escrow is required.
The escrow funds will be held in Haridass Ho’s client account with OCBC in Singapore.
The escrow funds are covered by Haridass Ho’s indemnity insurance of SGD 52 million (around USD 39 million).
Assentiri has taken the approach to co-operate with certain existing escrow agents and deliver the service together with them. Assentiri and Haridass Ho have an agency relationship whereby Haridass Ho is the escrow agent on record and Assentiri is their agent. This provides the most robust structure regarding the regulatory environment and insurance coverage.
We charge a flat fee of USD 10,000 (normally split between sellers and buyers). This includes escrow, closing services and platform access for all stakeholders in a transaction. A reduced rate is available if only closing services are required.
