  • Assentiri provide escrow and closing services for maritime asset transactions.

  • Assentiri provides an escrow service together with regulated partners that hold and pay out the funds whereas Assentiri manages the transaction making use of our digital platform.

  • Assentiri will ensure simultaneous completion of the transaction by dating the release letters and timing the protocol of delivery and acceptance. We have developed a virtual closing room hosted in Teams to support this part of our service.

  • The escrow funds will be held either in OCBC in Singapore or DNB in Norway.

  • The escrow funds are covered by the indemnity insurance taken out by our local partner’s which is SGD 52 million for Haridass Ho and NOK 15 million for VA Finance.

  • Assentiri has taken the approach to co-operate with certain existing escrow agents and deliver the service together with them. One of our partners will be the escrow agent on record and Assentiri manages the transaction on their behalf.

  • We charge a flat fee of USD 10,000 (normally split between sellers and buyers). This includes escrow, closing services and platform access for all stakeholders in a transaction.
